Billing questions
Is there a refund window?
Request a refund within 14 days of the start of your initial paid subscription. This covers AI Orchestra subscription charges, not your provider token bills. See refund terms and contact details.
What does “roles unlocked” mean?
Choose the roles that fit your work. Each plan sets how many can participate at once. More seats let you add reviewers or specialists without replacing a seated role.
What is the Vault?
Cloud storage for your Projects or other work. The table shows account allowances; cloud Project storage and sync are still being built. A formal Project is optional for ordinary coding. Co-Work is a future chat surface.
What exactly is a seat?
One AI agent holding one role in one session — a Drafter, a Reviewer, an Indexer. Your plan caps how many can sit at the table at once on the web, not how many roles you can define or switch between. The extension does not enforce that cap yet.
Do I pay for model usage too?
Yes, separately. You bring your own provider keys, so tokens are billed by Anthropic, OpenAI or whoever you use. AI Orchestra charges only for seats and hosted storage and never resells a model call. Calls go straight to your provider unless you use Server Proxy (paid plans; free accounts for providers that block browser calls), which forwards them without storing anything.
Can I change plans mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades apply at your next renewal, and any seats over the new limit become unseated rather than deleted.
Where does my data live?
Authentication and the workspace storage allowance run on Supabase. Your provider API keys stay in the editor’s secret storage or your browser and go straight to the vendor, except a Server Proxy request. If you turn on Key Vault, they are stored there too, but only as ciphertext that we cannot read. When you use Server Proxy (paid plans; free accounts for providers that block browser calls), your key passes through our server for that request and is not stored. Local chat and local files stay on your machine. Saving a web chat to the cloud stores the transcript. Saving a cloud workspace file stores that file’s text.
What happens when I hit a limit?
On the web, the page stops you seating more models than the plan shows. That check is in the browser. The extension does not enforce it, and buying a plan does not raise an extension seat limit. Storage and project limits are soft — existing data is preserved and you get an upgrade prompt instead of a failed write.
